Sarah obtained a Bachelor of Science from McMaster University in 2020, specializing in the Biology and Pharmacology Co-op Program, where her thesis focussed on acute myeloid leukemia relapse response to chemotherapy. In September 2020, Sarah joined the Cummins laboratory as a direct-entry PhD student and is funded by CIHR CGS at the Master’s level. Her research project is focussed on characterizing the role of liver ARGLU1 in coactivating peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor-mediated metabolic pathways.
