Deniz Ozdin, PharmB, MSc, PhD is a pharmacometrician in Syneos Health with an extensive experience in academia and pharmaceutical industry in the fields of Drug Development and Pharmacometrics. Following her education in Bachelor of Pharmacy and Master of Pharmaceutical Sciences, she earned her PhD in the major of Clinical Pharmacology-Pharmacometrics from the University of Montreal, Canada. Her PhD focused on the implementation of Population PK Modeling in bioequivalence assessment of generic drugs. During her PhD, she worked as a visiting researcher in PK/PD modeling of chemotherapeutic agents in Toulouse Paul Sabatier University - Cancer University Institute of Toulouse (IUCT) Oncopole, France. She has expanded her pharmacometrics expertise to Semi-physiological PK Modeling, Exposure-Response Analysis, and Model-Based Approaches for PK Characterization and Bioequivalence Assessment of Topical Dermatological Formulations. She has delivered more than 10 posters and oral presentations internationally and published more than 10 abstracts, manuscripts, and book chapters in clinical pharmacology. She is a current member of the American Society for Clinical Pharmacology and Therapeutics (ASCPT), Canadian Society for Pharmaceutical Sciences (CSPS), and American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists (AAPS).
