Krishna K. Midde, Ph.D., is a Sr Research Scientist at the PPD biomarkers lab in Richmond. He leads the R&D team in development and qualification of ligand binding assays. Before Dr. Midde joined PPD labs, he worked at Ventana Medical Systems in Tucson, AZ. Dr. Midde contributed to companion diagnostics (CDx) development using the Gyros Immunoassay platform. He was also involved in screening diagnostic grade antibodies through Octet Bilayer Interferometry and SPR technologies. In this role, he was also involved in Design of Experimentation (DoE), gage R&R studies and process capability (CpK) analysis using Minitab to implement good manufacturing processes. Dr. Midde has authored 25 publications, presented at several professional conferences, and has one United States patent. Dr. Midde earned a Ph.D. degree in Biochemistry from the University of North Texas HSC.
