I enjoy diving into the genome to decipher the mechanisms of complex diseases and working towards discovering novel drug targets and biomarkers. During my Ph.D. journey, I worked on several projects that investigated how epigenetic changes in individuals are linked to specific neuropsychiatric disorders such as cocaine addiction, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and suicidal behavior.
As I finish my Ph.D. research, I am getting ready to embark on a new journey of scientific discovery. I am looking to join a world-class research lab that allows me to implement my existing knowledge and experience while collaborating with other scientists to advance the clinical application of genetics in drug discovery and development.
