Sneha Rathi is a Ph.D. candidate in the department of Pharmaceutics at the University of Minnesota. She is a research assistant in the Elmquist lab and her research focuses on examining and improving brain delivery of targeted therapies for the treatment of primary and metastatic brain tumors .She is also exploring modeling and simulation-based integration of in vitro and preclinical PK-PD to predict clinical exposure of therapeutics and enable informed decisions for clinical translation.
Sneha completed her Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) from the Institute of Chemical Technology (ICT), Mumba, and Master of Science (M.S.) in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER), Hyderabad in India. Apart from research, Sneha has maintained a consistent academic record and has actively participated in numerous co-curricular and extra-curricular activities. She has been an active member in scientific and non-scientific bodies at all institutes that she has been a part of and has helped organize numerous events and workshops (20+ and counting) for the personal, professional and academic development of students.
Sneha believes learning is a continuous process and tries to make sure to learn something new each day. She has volunteered for the American Red Cross, Big Brothers and Big Sisters, and other social initiatives championing to spread awareness amongst the public for diseases such as HIV-AIDS, etc. She is an ardent traveler and wishes to explore the entire world with relentless curiosity.
