I am a PhD student and is a resarch scientist who is doing her degree in Pharmaceutics at Texas Southern University and is in her third year. I plan to graduate in 2025. I see myself as an innovative pharmaceutical scientist with over 6 years of research experience and a strong background in oncology, , regulatory, metabolism, and formulation development of pharmaceutical APIs. I have experience with Pharmacokinetic modeling and analysis with WinNonlin and Gastroplus software,qualitycontrol and quality assurance analysis on raw and finished products. I also developed soft skills in leadership and team management,project management, emotional intelligence, good communication skills, strong interpersonal skills as well as client relationship
management. I have Formulated and determined stability of a simple co-solvent formulation for IV injection.I also Developed a novel solid-lipid nanoparticle (SLN) formulation for oral and IV delivery, using cosmetic grade lipid excipientsI also Conducted in vivo metabolism studies in rats to mitigate diarrhea induced by Irinotecan (a colon cancer medication) usingextracts from a Chinese herbal medicine.I also Conducted a phase II metabolism study, to research on the enzymatic activity of the microbiota in the colon and developed an
effective method for this kind of study.I have also Performed non-compartmental and compartmental PK modeling for oral, IV and topical routes of administration.I also Designed and validated effective LC-MS methods for the quantification of flavonoid glucuronides, drugs and their
metabolites in biologic matrices.I have also presented scientific reports and publications at local and national forums.Furthermore, I Supervised in the dosage formulation lab for Pharm.D students during the preparation of emulsions, ointments, capsules and
suppositories as well as graded their class assignments.
