My research career has been focused on using enabling formulations to improve the bioavailability of therpaeutic molecules (chemical and biologics) upon oral administration. Currently, I am a PhD Fellow in Pharmaceutical Sciences, focused on development and evaluation of early phase formulations using lipids to enable oral delivery of GLP-1 analogue. I am well-versed with conceptual and practical understanding of formulation and evaluation of peptide loaded formulations in relevant in vitro and in vivo models along with various biopharmaceutical processes to enable improved performance of dosage forms. My research objectives are strongly centered around improving patient's quality of life in chronic disorders, whether that is through improved patient compliance or through improved therapeutic regimen.
