Kristen Hong is a PhD candidate at the University of Michigan studying Pharmaceutical Sciences. She earned her BS in Pharmaceutical Sciences from The Ohio State University in 2017 and her MS in Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Michigan in 2020. Kristen's research focuses on lipid nanoparticle formulation and optimization, investigating how the lipid composition of these particles affects their anti-inflammatory activity and overall therapeutic potential in atherosclerosis and other inflammatory diseases. In her free time, she likes to walk her dog, Nacho, go to the gym, and try new foods.
