Kazuma Higashisaka, PhD, has been an Associate Professor at the Institute for Advanced Co-Creation Studies, Osaka University, since 2021. He graduated from Osaka University in 2009 and received his doctoral degree from that university in 2016. He has been a Research Fellow of the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (2012); an Assistant Professor at the Graduate School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Osaka University (October 2012 to September 2017); and a Specially Appointed Lecturer in the Graduate School of Medicine, Osaka University (October 2017 to March 2021). He has been awarded the Pharmaceutical Society of Japan, Kinki Branch Award for Young Scientists (2013) and the Pharmaceutical Society of Japan Award for Young Scientists (2022).
