Formulation Scientist
Element Materials Technology
I have a master’s degree in pharmaceutical sciences from the University of Toledo, OH, with a focus on industrial pharmacy. As a part of my master’s degree, I worked on formulation and analytical projects, independently and in collaboration with academic and industrial colleagues. As a result, I gained extensive knowledge and experience in the formulation, characterization, and evaluation of oral solid dosage forms, and topical dosage forms such as creams, gels, ointments, suspensions, and solutions as demonstrated in my research papers and posters at pharmaceutical conferences (AAPS 2017 – AAPS 2021). With over 5 years of formal experience in product development, I am working as a Formulation Scientist/Associate manager at Element Materials Technology, Ann Arbor, MI. My broad experience includes developing OSDs, topical and transdermal delivery systems with a strong understanding of pre-formulation studies, formulation prototype development, lead optimization, stability, and lead formulation selection to support our clients from lab scale (R&D) to clinical trial material (cGMP) batches.
