Min Du, PhD, is currently working as Senior Manager for Pharma and Biopharma Applications at Thermo Fisher Scientific Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry Division.
Min received her MD from Shandong Medical University and Ph.D. from the Biology Department focusing on biological mass spectrometry at York University, followed by her post-doc fellowship at Boston Biomedical Research Institute, where she focused her research on novel LCMS solutions for biomarker discovery and validation for various cancer and muscular dystrophy diseases.
Min joined Berg Heath LLC in 2010, a clinical phase pharmaceutical/biotech company. As the Director of Omics at Berg, Min led the analytical group focusing on developing novel high throughput analytical platform/ workflows using state-of-the-art LCMS instruments to analyze protein/peptides, lipids, and metabolites in biological matrices, working closely with biological researchers and clinicians to support Novel Biomarker& New Drug development pipeline as well as clinical trials. She joined Waters Corporation in 2014 as a Senior Biopharmaceutical Business Development Manager focusing on development and commercialization of high resolution UPLC and MS based Platform Solutions for Biopharmaceutical characterization, monitoring and quality control before joining Thermo Fisher Scientific in 2019.
Currently, Min is leading the application team responsible for utilizing state-of-the-art LC and LCMS technologies to develop methods, applications, and solutions to meet Pharmaceutical and Biopharmaceutical developer and manufacturer’s needs.
