Priyal Bagwe (BPharm) is a Ph.D. Candidate- Pharmaceutical Sciences in Mercer University College of Pharmacy. She is a pharmaceutical sciences researcher with expertise in a diverse range of biotechnological interventions, such as the formulation of vaccines for infectious diseases and cell-based therapies for cancers. She has gained hands-on experience in the formulation of nanoparticles and microparticles using different techniques such as spray drying, double emulsion-solvent evaporation, and lyophilization. And in developing a formulation of novel pain-free strategies for vaccination such as microneedles and buccal fast dissolving films. Her past research projects have honed her skills in experimental design, analytical thinking, problem-solving, and scientific writing. Currently, her main research interest focuses on the formulation and delivery of vaccines for infectious diseases.
