The Laser-Based Solid Fraction Measurement System was developed in 2008 to provide a faster alternative to typical solid fraction/porosity measurement methods on roller compacted ribbons. These earlier systems are in use at major pharmaceutical companies worldwide.
Our most recent product, the Solid Fraction Rapid Analyzer is an order of magnitude faster, and capable of making solid fraction/porosity measurements in 15 seconds, up to 120 times faster than typical methods, and still with parts per thousand repeatability.
