Kristy Gleaton currently serves as the Vice President of Operations at Thomas Eye Group. She graduated from Georgia State University with a bachelor’s degree in sociology and a minor in philosophy. Kristy began her optometry journey as a LensCrafters frame stylist in 1995. By just twenty years old, she became a manager with Nation Vision. By 1998, she assumed the role of a Co-Owner and Manager at Total Vision where she became proficient in Compulink practice management software. She combined this knowledge with her proficiency in strategy, leadership, and management to transition into full-time employment as Compulink’s EMR Software Training Specialist. In her current role at Thomas Eye Group, which she joined in June 2019, Kristy oversees nine department managers and maintains communication between 16 locations, 43 doctors, and almost 300 clinical staff members. She is a mother of two amazing kids. In her spare time, she likes listening to new musical soundtracks with her daughter and going on adventures with her son.
