Merrie Wallace began her career as a Charge Nurse and Transplant Coordinator for Emory University Hospital. She earned her Bachelors of Nursing from August University and her Masters of Nursing from Emory University while working fulltime on the transplant team.
After seven years of work in the medical field, Merrie transitioned to sales, working as a Regional Vice President for HBOC before transitioning to a twelve-year career at McKesson. During her time at McKesson, she served as an executive in the sales and marketing department, as the National VP for Horizon Clinicals, and as the Senior Vice President of Customer Success.
Merrie continued her career in healthcare administration as the Executive Vice President of Product Solutions for Awarepoint (now CenTrak), and for Premier, Inc as Service Line Vice President, Quality. In 2017, Merrie moved into the startup space as the Chief Revenue Officer of PerfectServe, Inc until 2020. She then served as the Chief Revenue Officer for FairWarning through 2021.
Merrie has been with Boostlingo since 2021 as Chief Revenue Officer. Her background in healthcare has helped the company develop interpretation technology solutions specific to the medical interpreting space, and has significantly expanded Boostlingo's medical market reach and healthcare offerings. As a former healthcare worker, Merrie is hyper-focused on how virtual language support can improve patient and family experiences, as well as how medical groups can access more affordable options through flexible medical interpretation.
When Merrie is not working hard at Boostlingo, you can find her cheering on the University of Georgia Bulldogs, spending time with her family, or enjoying a day on the lake.
