This course will discuss the foundational components required in the implementation of disease prevention and infection control. The course includes a robust discussion of modern techniques available to the dental preventive expert in controlling, preventing and managing the sequelae of disease transmission. Participants walk away with advanced knowledge of futuristic techniques in disease prevention including but not limited to: silver diamine fluoride, oral & systemic interventions, orofacial myofunctional therapy, air polishing techniques and use of advanced periodontal procedures including perio endoscopy.
