CE Credits: 1.5
There is a plethora of bonding agents, composites, cements and bioactive materials on the market. This program reviews new materials and techniques in an effort to help improve our treatment outcomes. We'll review techniques and tools to enhance the long-term maintenance of your patients’ dentition and help prevent or reduce the need for future restoration. Questions are arising as to the longevity and appropriateness of our current resin material systems and the new generation of bonding agents - what options do we have? We'll cover advances in composite materials including bulk-fill composites, and the curing lights we use to cure them. There are a number of reasons for post-operative sensitivity, learn how to avoid it!
Learning Objectives:
Upon completion, participant will be able to describe potential causes of post-operative sensitivity and techniques to help avoid it.
Upon completion, participant will be able to understand how bulk fill restorative materials work, and how to successfully incorporate these materials in practice.
Upon completion, participant will be able to explain potential issues regarding curing lights and how we use them in practice, and learn ways to minimize these concerns.
Upon completion, participant will be able to update adhesive bonding techniques to help achieve improved results.
