Diversity, Equity & Inclusion in Dentistry: An Opportunity for Your Practice

This lecture will share current data on oral health disparities in Washington, workforce shortages and the opportunity to create a culture of inclusion and expand diversity within the dental professions. Participants will learn about efforts supported by the WSDA/Delta Dental Workforce Task Force to promote the dental professions to historically under-represented groups as well as a new continuing dental education course on this topic offered by Arcora Foundation.

Attendees will also discover pathways to get involved with initiatives which directly impact communities in Washington state, such as our “Introduction to Dentistry” course and other programs.
