Do you currently treat patients with special health care needs in your practice? In 2020, the Data Resource Center for Child & Adolescent Health estimated that there were approximately 327,035 (19.7%) children and youth with special health care needs in Washington state. Many of these individuals do not have access to regular and ongoing dental care. This course is designed to provide techniques using minimal an moderate sedation to deliver safe and effective care to this demographic.
