In your company, Safety is Number One... Is it really?

Session Description: Understanding that for most contractors in our industry believe “safety doesn’t matter until safety matters”. This session will look how much it matters when it matters as well as at the often-used phrase “Safety is Number One” and break down some of the miss conceptions regarding this phrase. We will discuss the differences between a “priority” and a core company value. We will discuss where, within the framework of a company, should the focus on safety be placed. We will be discussing what proper management of safety would look like and ways it could be implemented, including exploring some of the technology tools available.
