Dr. Niebler completed his pediatric critical care and cardiac critical care training at Children's Wisconsin/Medical College of Wisconsin before joining the faculty in 2009 where he has remained since. He was appointed to the role of the medical director of the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit in 2021. His clinical and research focus is in the use mechanical ciruclatory support in children. He is an active member of the ACTION learning network currenlty serving as the lead on data visulatization and usability. Other interests include medical informatics/clinical decision support. He was appointed to the role of Assistant Chief Medical Information Officer at Children's Wisconsin in 2021.
