Kaitlin Koralik BSN, RN, CBC, CCRN-K is a Nursing Professional Development Practitioner for the Cardiac Care Unit at Ann and Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago. For the past 8 years she has worked in the role of clinical educator training new nurses to the nuances and intricacies of caring for patients with congenital heart disease. Kaitlin is incredibly passionate about teaching novice nurses and elevating their skills to provide exceptional care to our delicate patients using simulation. Kaitlin graduated from Saint Louis University sixteen years ago. She started her nursing career in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Childrens' Memorial Hospital and then transitioned to the Cardiac Care Unit when it was developed ten years ago. In her spare time, Kaitlin enjoys spending time with her 2 children and husband, riding her peloton and cooking. She currently lives in a northwest suburb of Chicago.
