Trained in cardiology and critical care medicine at Boston Childrens Hospital followed by 10 years at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia with 6 as director of the CICU and most recently 13 years at UCSF with 6 as director of the CICU. Academic and clinical interst in newborns with HLHS including site PI for the SVR trial at CHOP and physician lead for the single ventricle home monitoring program at UCSF. Particular interest in leveraging data to improve outcomes. Serves as phyisican lead for the UCSF Heart Center Data Team and is currently the Executive Director of the Pediatric Cardiac Critical Care Consortium
