Katja Gist is a pediatric cardiologist and intensivist and co-director of the ceneter for acute care nephrology at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center. Her research interests include short and long term outcomes in critical care nephrology in children with and without heart disease. She leads 2 multiimational collaboratives - Kidney Interventions During Membrane Oxygneation (KIDMO) and Worldwide Exploration of Renal Replacement Outcomes Collaborative in Kidney Disease (WE-ROCK), and is on the steering committee for the Neonatal and Pediatric Heart and Renal Outcomes Network (NEPHRON) and the Prospective Pediatric Acute Kidney Injury Collaborative (PP-AKI).
