Justin Yeh is the Chief of Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Medicine and co-director of the Heart Institute at UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. His training includes medical school at Albany Medical College followed by a pediatrics residency at Children’s Hospital of Orange County and subspecialty training at Children’s National Medical Center with fellowships in pediatric cardiology and critical care. He has over a decade of experience in pediatric cardiac critical care and his research interests include the use of ventricular assist devices to support children with advanced heart failure.
Dr. Yeh oversees the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU) at Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh, which provides critical care to infants and children with congenital or acquired heart disease, as well as adults with congenital heart disease. In addition, he has oversight over 2 partner programs in Florida, St. Joseph’s Children's Hospital in Tampa and Wolfson Children’s Hospital in Jacksonville. Children’s collaboration with these hospitals involves program development, as well as the delivery of both telemedicine and direct patient care services.
