Mark Todd is the ECLS Clinical Educator and Coordinator for the ECLS Program at The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids) in Toronto, Canada. Mark's background is in Respiratory Therapy, and he started his career at SickKids, becoming a certified ECMO Specialist shortly after joining the RT department. While in his role as ECLS Clinical Educator and Coordinator, Mark still works as a bedside RT and ECMO Specialist in the Critical Care Unit. Mark has had experience working in the Cardiac OR as a Perfusion Assistant, mentoring student RTs as the RT Clinical Educator and has worked with SickKids International and Children’s HeartLink on international projects in Qatar, South Africa, and China. Mark’s professional interests are in all areas related to ECLS however he has specific interests in education, team training and performance during ECPR, and quality improvement in ECLS.
