Amy S. Lay, M.D. is a attending physician at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago. She is the medical director of the acute care teams housed in the Regenstein Cardiac Care Unit. She is the co-creater of the interstage monitoring program (HeArT), working with this patient population for more than a decade. She is an imager with a focus on fetal care. This allows her to provide a continuuum of care for the patients and families, with a focus on creating safe inpatient to outpatient transitions. She lives with her husband, daughter and multiple pets in a Chicago land suburb.
