Pediatric Cardiac Critical Care Instructor
Texas Children's Hospital
I am a third year pedaitric cardiology fellow at the University of Mississippi Medical Center (UMMC) in Jackson, Mississippi and am particularly fascinated and passionate about cardiac critical care. I am currently in the process of applying for an advanced fourth-year fellowship in pediatric cardiac critical care. I find that find that it offers the perfect blend of pediatric cardiology with a high acuity, fast-paced clinical environment. I am originally from Vero Beach, Florida and did my undergraduate training at Florida State University. I then went on to complete my medical school training at St. George's University and then pediatric residency at UMMC in Jackson, where I have been for the past five years. My fellowship scholarly pursuits have been focused on critical care topics including pediatric ECMO anticoagulation, pediatric pulmonary hypertension, and neonatal adrenal insufficiency following cardiopulmonary bypass. I have had the opportunity to present at multiple PCICS conferences, including the 2019 PCICS Joint Pediatric Critical Care International Meeting in London.
