Clinical Outcomes & Quality Lead
Children's Hospital Colorado
Kim is the Clinical Outcomes and Quality Lead for the Heart Institute at Children's Colorado. She holds a joint faculty position and also works as a Nurse Practitioner in the CICU and CPCU. Her expertise is in resuscitation science, preventable harm, and program development.
Throughout her career, she has developed a resuscitation improvement program in the CICU in addition to an In-Situ simulation program in the PICU and an APP PICU Bootcamp curriculum for the Acute Care NP Program at the University of Colorado. She has lead numerous research and quality improvement initiatitives and lectured nationally on a variety of critical care topics.
Kim earned her MSN/NP degree at the University of Pennsylvania and is currently pursing an Executive Doctoral Degree from Johns Hopkins University. She is also serving on the National Nominating Committee Board for the Americal Association of Critical Care Nurses (AACN).
