Mr. Ewing is a natural resources lawyer with thirty years of experience advising traditional and renewable energy companies offshore. His practice includes securing offshore leases, permits for offshore developments, litigation to defend these permits, and investigations of major offshore disasters. His work includes groundbreaking projects such as Empire Wind, Beacon Wind, and Gulf Landing (LNG); precedent-setting litigation such as the first major case testing the modern offshore wind leasing program; major transactions like the Equinor – bp joint venture; and major incidents such as the Gulf Oil Spill. He started and helps lead the firm’s offshore wind practice.
