Description: In conjunction with Planet Labs and L3 Harris Geospatial, TurbineHub is developing a state-of-the-art proprietary offshore wind energy development tracking software via Synthetic-aperture radar (SAR), satellite imagery and deep learning. TurbineHub has mapped all FAA boat routes enabling the use of targeted SAR data to measure vessel traffic during non-sunny hours where optical imagery is useless. The software will be able to produce analytics for each individual offshore wind project to determine further best practices and ensure the offshore wind industry has a viable future to better the planet.

Upon completion, participants will understand the importance of real-time asset tracking and development monitoring to the offshore wind energy industry.
Upon completion, participants will see how they can reduce construction down time and improve internal and external project timelines, reducing costs and uncertainties.
Upon completion, government related participants will see how they can improve port efficiency, resilience, and effectiveness with 24-hour vessel tracking. Port efficiency, resilience, and effectiveness are critical to making the US an offshore wind leader.
