The Offshore Wind Market is a thriving market with 40+ GW of potential developments in the coming 10 years with. This requires an experienced workforce that is built over time. It takes a transition from traditional energy candidates, creating a new workforce, starting to motivate students at a young age. It will take development and promotion of the industry at universities or even earlier.
In the meanwhile, while the industry is growing, it will require experienced personnel that can be obtained by both brining in foreigners on a temporary basis to teach local personnel and brining local personnel abroad to get the necessary experience abroad.
