Betina Haugaard Heron is VP for Environmental Services and Offshore Wind in NIRAS. She holds a master degree in Environmental Engineering as well as a master degree in Energy Law. She has comprehensive international and multi-disciplinary experience in project- and portfolio management of major environmental and energy projects. She has many years of experience within all essential fields of environmental consulting; including planning, design, tender and supervision. This includes comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the processes related to major infrastructure projects including e.g. EIA process, consenting and permitting. For the past two decades she has had a leadership role in establishing, developing and managing consultancy practices.
