Ms. Pitera is a Team Lead in the Environmental and Permitting Services section at DNV. She has over 8 years of environmental engineering, planning, and management experience within the power industry. She holds a Master’s Degree in Environmental Planning and Management and is a registered Professional Engineer in Colorado. She has led the environmental due diligence efforts for numerous solar, storage, onshore wind, and offshore wind projects in the U.S., Canada, and U.K. Ms. Pitera has a wide range of expertise in environmental due diligence including extensive reviews of technical studies, stakeholder engagement, and the requirements and mitigation measures of project approvals and consents, including risk assessment of potential impacts to project siting, operation, and construction.
