Dominic Champneys is a young engineer, enthralled with making a difference in the fight against climate change and enamoured with the wind energy industry. Having completed Master's degrees in Chemical Engineering with Energy (at the University of Sheffield) and Renewable Energy Science and Technology (at Ecole Polytechnique), he launched his professional career at Vaisala France, formerly Leosphere. Surrounded state of the art expertise, he hopes that in his current position researching lidar applications in the wind energy industry that he can help to rethink the way lidars are used in the wind energy industry.
