Viren Parikh is a Director of Business Development - Energy for Ericsson North America. He has a Bachelor’s of Science in Electrical Engineering from his home-town University of Texas at Dallas, and a MBA from Southern Methodist University. After a ten-year career at Nortel working in various roles ranging from Network Engineering to Services Sales and Sales Engineering, he transitioned to Ericsson as part of the Nortel GSM acquisition in November of 2009. At Ericsson, he’s had roles as a Sales Engineer, Senior Solution Manager and more recently as Business Development to help develop the Fixed Wireless / WISP (Wireless Internet Service Providers) business within Ericsson. In the latest role, he is excited about showing the many companies in the Energy industry, which includes Oil and Gas, Wind and Solar on how Private Networks can help unlock value and aide in their Digitalization efforts. Viren resides in the Dallas metro area.
