Susan has over 20 years of experience overseeing the siting, licensing, and permitting of new and existing energy and industry infrastructure, including offshore wind. She has led environmental impact analyses and managed federal and state permitting throughout the U.S. Northeast and Mid-Atlantic. Her technical expertise includes resource characterizations, impact assessments, and monitoring program management for water quality; sediment quality; finfish and benthic resources, including essential fish habitat assessments; marine mammals; sea turtles, and other coastal, marine, and freshwater resources.
Her regulatory expertise includes managing and conducting projects requiring state permitting in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Massachusetts. She has comprehensive experience with federal permitting including conducting and managing permit applications for NEPA, BOEM, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, and the Coastal Zone Management Act Federal Consistency Program (by state).
