Peter has over ten years’ experience of advising on, and assisting, the grant of permits (including Development Consent Orders) for both private and public sector clients, in respect of a range of major redevelopment proposals, focussing on renewable energy development.
Peter has the very latest knowledge in renewable energy consenting in the UK having advised on the first solar energy NSIP, Cleve Hill Solar Park, as well as working for Orsted on three offshore wind farm NSIPs, including Hornsea Project Three and Hornsea Project Four.
Peter has also advised on all aspects of UK development law, policy and practice, as well as public law and local government issues. This has ranged from initial strategic advice, the co-ordination of applications and accompanying environmental assessments to listed building and enforcement, from the negotiation of planning and highway agreements to planning appeals and High Court litigation.
