Amanda Dasch is the Vice President of Shell’s Offshore Power Portfolio in the Americas and manages the renewables generation portfolio for onshore Brazil. Over the last 16 years, Amanda has led a variety of production, development and exploration teams in Shell’s Shales, Conventional Oil and Gas and Deep Water businesses, as well as delivering roles in finance, business planning, and strategy. In 2016, she assumed the role of Business Advisor to the Upstream Director based in The Hague before moving in 2017 to Brunei as the West Asset Manager for Brunei Shell Petroleum’s offshore oil and gas business. Most recently, Amanda was the VP Strategy and Portfolio for Upstream based in The Hague, responsible for navigating the role of Upstream in the Energy Transition. Amanda brings a focus on people, safety, and collaboration to business delivery.
Amanda holds a Bachelor’s degree in Geology from Amherst College and a PhD in Biogeochemistry from University of Michigan. Prior to joining Shell, Amanda worked at the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, D.C., where she researched the ecological and environmental impacts of ancient climate change. Amanda and her husband, John, live outside of Boston with their son and a daughter. As a family, they enjoy hiking, camping, and traveling the world together.
