Geri Edens, is Director of Permitting and counsel for Vineyard Offshore. She has more than 27-years’ experience permitting large-scale energy projects, working closely with multiple federal agencies on National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) reviews and related permitting under numerous federal statutes She has litigated numerous NEPA cases, representing project proponents as intervenors defending the adequacy of the environmental reviews in federal court. For over a decade, Ms. Edens represented Cape Wind Associates, where she assisted the company through the federal review process for its offshore wind project and successfully defended multiple challenges to the project permits and approvals. She also guided Vineyard Wind 1 through its permitting processes. Prior to working directly with Vineyard Offshore, Ms. Edens was a partner at a major international law firm.
