Keri Nunn-Ellison holds a doctor of education with a specialization in educational leadership and management and has been a Certified Nurse Educator since 2010. She has nursing practice experience in intensive care, and was a member of the intensive care leadership team at Miami Valley Hospital prior to becoming nursing faculty at Sinclair Community College in Dayton, Ohio. At Sinclair, Dr. Nunn-Ellison was promoted to the Associate Program Administrator for Nursing where she assisted in leading the associate degree nursing program, as well as participating as one of four Divisional Assessment Coordinators for the college and chair of the college-wide assessment committee. She also served two terms on the Education Advisory Board for the Ohio Board of Nursing. Currently, Dr. Nunn-Ellison has been a Director for the ACEN since 2016 where she champions quality program administration, curriculum, and assessment practices and has participated in professional faculty development presentations and publications on these topics.
