I have been a nurse for 17 years, specializing in intensive care. I joined the nursing faculty at Lone Star College in 2016 teaching online pharmacology, face-to-face skills lab, as well as didactic and clinical courses. My passion is improving education through innovation without additional technological changes but through positive role modeling. I am one of the few nursing faculty in our program that teaches across all levels, therefore I truly get to implement test-taking strategies and apply clinical judgment in all settings. I like to believe my ability to think on my feet is an asset to adapting to changes. I currently serve as the curriculum chair for our college system and team lead for level 2 students.
