Dr. Jewel Diller has worked in nursing education for three decades and now serves as the Assistant Vice President for Nursing at Ivy Tech Community College of Indiana. In this role, Diller oversees nursing deans at 19 campuses offering Associate of Science in Nursing and Practical Nursing programming. Diller led Ivy Tech Community College nursing faculty in creating Associate of Science bridge programming for Military Medics/Hospital Corpsmen and Medical Assistants launched at the start of 2022. She also led the faculty in re-envisioning the Pre-Nursing certification now offered at Ivy Tech Community College for students interested in pursuing Nursing as their major area. Diller has been instrumental in helping forge two apprenticeship programs and several other creative partnerships between the college and affiliating agencies with a goal of bringing together practice and education while benefitting students and health care institutions, all the while educating future nurses for the State of Indiana.
