Dr. Denise McEnroe-Petitte has been employed in nursing education for the past 27 years at Kent State University Tuscarawas in New Philadelphia, Ohio, USA. She is a Professor of Nursing Technology and teaches in the second year of the medical/surgical/psychosocial nursing courses as well as the RN to BSN program with the Kent State University College of Nursing.
She belongs to various nursing organizations including: STTI, AACN, NLN, serves on the Board of Directors for the IHCNO and is a Fellow of the Academy of Associate Degree Nurses. She is a peer reviewer and on the evaluation review panel for the ACEN. In addition, she serves on several nursing journal editorial boards, reviews potential journal articles, has written chapters in various medical/surgical/pharmacological/leadership textbooks, has been on planning committees for conferences, and planned/participated in webinars. Presentations, both podium and poster, have been performed both locally, nationally, and internationally by Dr. McEnroe-Petitte.
