Corinn Herrell joined Pheonix College Center for Nursing Excellence in 2019 as a nursing faculty member and is now the Simulation Coordinator for the program. She started her career as a Registered Nurse in 2007 as a graduate of Mesa-Boswell Community College. She went on to complete her Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Grand Canyon University in 2012, and her Masters of Science in Nursing with an emphasis in Education from Grand Canyon University in 2013. She is a Certified Healthcare Simulation Expert. Her nursing career started in a general medical telemetry unit, with the majority of her career in Adult Geriatric Progressive Care (PCU). She started her career in nursing education as an acute care RN Education Specialist for Banner Health in 2012, transitioning to academics in 2019. In her years of education, she has discovered a passion for simulation and creating robust experiences for the participants that impact learning and retention of knowledge.
