Shea Walker is the Assistant Director of Nursing at Georgia Highlands College. Her clinical experience and education include critical care, medical and nursing simulation management, and pre-licensure nursing education. She has a passion for engaged student learning and is skilled in creating active learning environments for students. At the organizational level, she has managed and organized multiple committees and events, including the Concept-Based-Curriculum committee and Test-item Writing Committee, disaster simulation, and the inaugural Evidence-Based Practice Symposium. She is a member of the American Association of Critical Care Nurses, Georgia Association of Nurse Education (GANE), Georgia Association of Deans and Directors, and Sigma Theta Tau. She will complete her DNP degree in December 2022.
