The profession of nursing is at a pivotal moment. There are many factors driving sweeping changes in how we staff, how we work, and how we measure the value of our work. Data from the American Nurses Foundation COVID-19 Survey Series from surveys of tens of thousands of nurses across America has revealed concerning data about how nurses are feeling. The need for a trauma-informed, transformational approach to leadership is a new requisite.
