Please, join us for this stimulating general session panel as Dr. Sharrica Miller engages an esteemed group of national experts to discuss strategies to create a climate of equity and success in nursing education. This session will provide key information to raise awareness and highlight the fundamental steps nurse educators must take to advance a culture of belonging in their institutions. The panelists all served on the ANA National Commission to Address Racism. Mr. Blake Smith served as Commissioner for the Education Workgroup, and Drs. Sharon Beasley and Dr. Jayson Valerio both served as subject matter experts for the report’s Education Workgroup. While this report will be discussed, the speakers will cover the broader context of fostering this critical conversation in nursing education.
