Kem Tolliver

rs. Tolliver is the co-author of, “Revenue Cycle Management: Don’t Get Lost in the Financial Maze” published by MGMA ® ISBN: 978-1-56829-677-7. She holds dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Healthcare Administration and Organizational Management; Summa Cum Laude and Magna Cum Laude respectively. Her certifications include: Certified Medical Practice Executive (CMPE), Certified Professional Coder (CPC) and Certified Medical Office Manager (CMOM). For over 20 years she has provided strategic and operational leadership within the healthcare industry.

Throughout her career, Kem has provided executive leadership on a number executive boards that represent local Medicare Administrative Contractor, regional Hospital, and Medical Group Management Association. Kem has been actively involved in the Maryland General Assembly advocating for administrative simplifying healthcare legislation. She has been awarded many honors for her service within the healthcare industry.

Kem gives back to her profession by volunteering as local AAPC coding chapter President, MGMA-ACMPE Representative, mentoring high-school students and her healthcare leadership peers.
