Courtney Leigh Coules (she(ella)/her) is the current Monitoring & Evaluation Associate in the Department of Community and Public Health at the Mountain Area Health Education Center (MAHEC) in Asheville, North Carolina. She is currently finishing a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree with a concentration in Place-Based Health from the Gilling’s School of Global Public Health based in Asheville and is excited to graduate this spring. She graduated in May 2020 from the University of North Carolina Asheville with her Bachelor of Science in Health and Wellness Promotion. Courtney's academic background includes a variety of public health topics, however, her passions include mental/emotional health, evaluation of programs, and political/cultural influences on health.
